» 103 Failures in Communication

  1. Hunter says:

It’s not fail if it’s a mall for midgets.

  2. Hunter is Stupid says:

    Hunter = Logic Fail

  3. Hunter says:

The transitive property could only be applied if:

    Midgets = Fail
    AND
    Escalator = Fail

    and would state that:

    Midgets = Escalator.

You are thinking of inherited properties and FAIL is not an inherited property therefore just because something is a subset of an object with the property of FAIL does not necessarily mean that the subset will inherit the property of FAIL from the object.

  4. cathbad says:

    IF: midgets=FAIL
    and Staircase is for Midgets,
    THEN
    Staircase for Fail.

  5. Hunter says:

But if cake is for me that doesn’t mean cake is me. So if escalator is for FAIL that doesn’t mean escalator is FAIL.

  6. u_fail says:

hunter, no matter what you say, you FAIL in comments

  7. lanphuong says:

Thank you, You can visit http://nghecon13.googlepages.com“>
“The top blogs of the day” report

  8. tenth says:

At the very least, it’s an escalator handrail FAIL.

  9. Alex says:

FAIL at having anything better to do than discuss logic of midget escalators in relation to failure

  10. Homer says:

Anyone ever think that maybe the escalator was there first and the drop ceiling added later? Before the ceiling was added, both tall and little people could shop on the second floor. Now, only the short. I declare this a ceiling fail.

    • Anonymous says:

      ^ WIN!! ^

    • ZR says:

As someone who works on elevators, not escalators but still, I agree, Ceiling Fail.
but it’s more likely the drop ceiling was there first, though installed without thought that clearance would be required for the thing going through the ceiling to the next floor.

  11. Ed says:

This blog should be either real pics or SLIGHTLY Photoshopped ones. This is just retarded. Not only is it clearly Photoshopped, but there’s nothing that funny about an escalator going into a ceiling.

  12. Homer says:

Ed, why don’t you call the waa-mbulance?

  13. Sofar says:

    Drop-ceiling fail.

  14. Mickey says:

    Ed = smugness fail.

  15. Homer says:

Hunter, go dial whine-1-1 or quit crying.

  16. Anonymous says:

ground floor, then first floor, you fail by listing this. FAIL.

  17. Dax says:

Wow, perv-o-matic… That made my day.
    I can’t help but love Grade-A ownage.

  18. Woot says:

there is still a second floor
so i declare this as a planning fail

  19. crow says:

I can’t even process what I’m seeing there! (And yes, I know what’s failing in the pic, that’s not what I meant.)

  20. chap paste says:

    i’m not getting this….

  21. uhhhhh says:

    i dont get it

    • what says:

imagine standing on the escalator. you’d hit your head on the ceiling a little more than half way up. the ceiling is ‘cut’ practically at the height of the handrail of the escalator.

  22. Julians says:

Which brilliant country made this mall OBVIOUSLY meant for the vertically-challenged?

  23. delila says:

u’r reeeally weird, guys! discussing these things… i mean wtf?!

  24. blahcomando says:

    next comment fails

  25. Unanimous says:

    Previous comment wins.

  26. tuba says:

this pic doesnt show enough to see whats the problem. I demand video.

  27. pete says:

    This post is a fail.

  28. Pokii says:

Took me a minute to see it lol

  29. http://inverted.darkbb.com/ says:

    You can see the pixels.

  30. rob says:

    hunter = WIN

  31. Goose says:

    I Dont Get It.

  32. Rhapsody says:

    It’s a trap!

  33. Winner master says:

what the hell is that there is no fail at all!!!

  34. BoB says:

The fail would techincally be the fail of the establishment. if it is in a wal-mart then that would be a fail in itself because no Wal-mart should have stairs. any Midget that goes up those stairs and fits would be a fail becuase it obviously goes into a ceiling. whether or not there is a midget level or not does not matter because im sure even a midget would be uncomfortable shopping in a fail-mart.

  35. (required) says:

its just the angle the picture was taken at

  36. jonnyboi says:

why is everyones photos of a design?

  37. halao says:

midget/dwarf/small person = POLITICAL CORRECTNESS FAIL.

  38. G says:

seriously how do these things actually happen!!
Or am i just really bad at detecting photoshop work.

(looked at my sentences after typing them and realized both were questions but neither ended with a question mark. Punctuation FAIL?)

  39. Sweemey says:

Noticed the lack of punctuation, yet still did not correct it Fail. :D

  40. Bon Qui Qui says:

If you look at the top it’s obvious it’s photoshopped.

  41. trusts says:

it’s for headless shoppers, of course!

  42. Nicole says:

what the heck was the fail?

  43. poatoboy says:

The fail is that while the escalator goes to a second floor, the ceiling does not. So the picture is a planning fail, a drop ceiling fail, or general establishment fail, because it resides in a Wal-mart. However, the comments in this fail have several fails of their own, such as; punctuation, grammar, midget, transitive property, chain name, and political correctness; as well as one case of smugness fail. If you didn’t notice all of these things by the time you have read this comment, you fail. Also, if you did notice all of these things and are continuing to read more comments, such as this one, you fail.
    .
    .
Just try and find a grammar error in that comment, I dare you.

    • nobody says:

The comma after “general establishment fail” is unnecessary. The “m” in Wal-Mart should be capitalized. The semicolon after “such as” should have been a colon. The statement “just try and find” should be “just try TO find.” Thank you.

  44. Sarah says:

    Wait I don’t get it

  45. Stranger says:

    WATCH YOUR HEAD..!!

  46. žogi says:

    challenge accepted!

  47. toby says:

its not that bad you could just duck underneath it

  48. Anonymous says:

    heh. transitive property of fail.

  49. halao says:

    Date/time/comment position fail
