No, my good sir.
It’s actually a colombian soldier, the ecuatorial flag has their shield in the middle, the flag shown on the soldier’s arm doesn’t, therefore he must be colombian. Also the Colombian Armed Force is the only one on South America to use the IWI Galil SAR.

It’s actually a IWI Galil SAR, and the soldier its actually a Colombian Soldier using the standard colombian armed force’s uniform of 2006.
How do I know? Simple, I KNOW the difference between the IWI Galil SAR, the IWI Galil, the FN FAL and the G3, and I can easily tell each one from the other one, the flag on the soldier’s arm clearly is yellow at the top, blue in the middle and red in the bottom (For the blue and red you have to look more carefully) and the yellow part is twice the size of the blue/red part, taking half of the flag, wich narrows it down to Colombia: http://banderas-himnos.com/media/flags/bandera-colombia.gif
Now, who’s better at knowing the military uniform of their country than the people who live in that country? Yes, I am colombian and I can easily identify the uniform.

That is SO not a G3! It has a wrong hand guard and a wrong stock and a wrong body and a wrong magazine… Looks more like a Galil or a FAL. Try doing a google picture search on a Heckler & Koch G3
