That’s not from Mt Snow, it’s from Blue Mountain in Ontario. This was from an Ontario Cup race in the 2007 season.
I know because I broke my ankle there two days later… No pictures of the crash but here’s the aftermath:

Its not fake, I took the picture. I used a remote flash, although the colors are pumped up (too high) in photoshop. I even have the next shot of him sliding off. It was a pretty damn good wreck.

Well I’m pretty sure this guy must have done some serious damage to his neck in this crash…either that or he died. Look at the misplacement of the helmet to shoulders…WTF!
Also, why does the bike look dusty as the back, but brand new at the front?
and why is his shirt so white when he is clearly underneath a canopy thick enough to darken the rest of the area? (except where the other bloke is)

Oh its real alright !! I was standing right there when it happened ! Hard bails seemed to be the theme of the day in that area of the course , I actually left my marshaling spot to watch the carnage !! LOL

It has been touched up in photoshop but the crash is real. I’m friends with the guy. He actually survived that crash without any magor injuries.
