Hedgehogs seem to love sticking their heads into small openings.
McDonalds changed the design of it’s McFlurry cups in Germany because to many hedgehogs looking for delicious ice cream got stuck in there and eventually died from not getting out of it anymore.

They explore with their noses b/c their sense of smell is a whole lot better than their eyes. Mine is named Trouble because their curiosity and love of fun tend to get them in trouble. You are supposed to keep an eye on them if you give them something like that. FAIL on behalf of the owner for letting it get stuck and not helping out right away.

This is just too adorable, also some of the related videos from the hedgehog boogie video showed people holding hedgehogs, I thought the spines on a hedgehog made them painful to hold on their backs?
A hedgehog’s spines are wierd like that. They always have the same rigidity, but the hedgie in question can actually lay them down/push them upright if it feels calm/threatened. That way, they can essentially choose who/what picks them up.
The ones you saw in the videos were either:
-Tolerating/enjoying being held, or
-Had owners with tough/numb/prosthetic hands.
