As a designer I thought it was hilarious that a Fortune 500 company invests in new technology only to fuck up the most basic component. We do have extension cords in my country, and apparently there are a lot of people out there who want to insure the extension cord producers have steady profits. I mean why do something right the first time when you can pay more money to fix it. Fair enough, without context this not as funny as a drunk co-ed lighting a cigarette form the wrong end.
