» 46 Failures in Communication

  1. scooter says:

Doesn’t seem like the end of the world to me. Probably should have it on a surge-protector anyways.

Or is it ‘fail’ as in ‘this picture is on a humor site but has no comedic value?’

  2. Will says:

if you pay close attention, the wire has not been uncoiled yet, and if the guy just did that, the wire would be a hell lot longer.

  3. Simon says:

The wire that has not been uncoiled doesn’t look like it will uncoil into a mains lead.

Mind you, the photo that I’m looking at looks more contrived than popular music.

  4. Hunter says:

The coiled wire is the video wire. :P

  5. huskerdont says:

    Posed = fail

  6. Chinski says:

Haha its not about specifically whats happening in the photo, its about whats happening in the photo represents. That sh*t is hillarious, if you people dont think its funny you yourselfs, fail.

  7. briandevine says:

First of all the power line is at full extension. The coiled cord is for the “video in” feed.

Secondly Chinski is correct, it’s not a failure of the person pictured, but the person who installed a TV that cannot be plugged in.

    • Alltat says:

      Two words: extension cord.

Also, even if the cable was a decimeter or two longer, it would still be useless. It’s not as if you would actually have a power cable going across the room like that…

  8. tracer says:

I guess they haven’t invented extension cords yet in that country….

  9. [...] escrevem um FAIL garrafal, e publicam. Pode parecer besta, mas dá uma olhada nisso, ou nisso, e me diga se não é o [...]

  10. stmichaelsspark says:

so i have to comment , i’m the related post 3-16-08 thank you so much for putting into visual what i could only describe ha ha ha i love the pic and for those who don’t think it’s funny…………well i don’t know-time to lighten up

  11. Bleeah says:

For those of you who think that this is so funny, well great, but I’m sorry, this just isn’t up to the standard of FAIL. It’s like a Marmaduke comic in the middle of a Calvin and Hobbes book. It should be somewhere else.

  12. DrumRobC says:

this fail is a fail. uncoil the cord and/or use a surge protector and/or extension cord.

  13. FAIL Geeks! says:

    [...] Hahahahaa! ¡A mi me pasó! [...]

  14. Kerrisan says:

    Extension cord WIN!

  15. Max says:

ever heard of extension cables? They were specificly invented to make this picture NOT A FAIL!

  16. Carly says:

The only thing about this picture is that bloke looks like someone I work with, otherwise it’s uninteresting.

  17. Hauntzor says:

that guy’s stupid’ the wire’s still coiled XD

  18. FRILA says:

OMG THIS GUY LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE MY OLD SCIENCE TEACHER MR JONATHON T NOLDE!!!!!!!! IF THIS IS HIM I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED!!! OMFG!!! THIS IS WEIRD!!!

  19. tuba says:

I think fail is here that guy spent all his money to 17″ lcd tv and some moron thinks its funny that there is not 50 kilometer cords :P

  20. Pit says:

the fail in the pic is that HE probably installed the tv without testing if the cable is long enough

  21. cole-da-mole says:

    more like extension cord fail.

  22. LD0ne says:

oh boy… i’d be so pissed… thank god for extensions…

  23. crazy 88 says:

Chuck Norris would just put one finger in the socket and touch the end of the cord and watch the tv

    • Scott says:

You think he could do it with one finger?!?! Man that’s impressive, I thought it would take at least two.

  24. Cubs Fan says:

oh no he has to walk to the garage and get an extension cord!!!

  25. Woo Woo says:

It’s called an extension cord. Problem solved!!!

  26. err says:

Why did there just happen to be a camera there to take the pic anyway? :/
