I guess the up escalator is for people who are really fat who need to work out there, and the down escalator is for people who’ve worked out so hard that they can’t use the stairs going out.

do some research before calling something faked or phothospped….just because you think you know stuff doesn’t mean you really do. most of the people who try to call fake are people who know next to nothing about photoshop.
I’ve thought about this photo for a long while. Having been in an automobile accident myself, I think it’s likely that the fitness center offers physical therapy for accident victims.
I use to belong to that gym when I lived in San Diego, It’s 2 stories tall, But the main entrance is at the top floor. It use to be called Family Fitness Center before it was 24. I never used the escalator of course.
This is my gym and I’ve been about about this for years. The best part is that there’s now a “Handicapped access in back of building” sign in front right by the escalators, leaving no excuse what so ever.
Lets face it, given the choice between the two. I pick escalators. WHY? because they’re fun! Nevermind the retarded notion of putting an escalator anywhere near a fitness center. You can’t tell me that escalators aren’t fun. It’s like a hick getting on an elevator for the first time. Yay Yay, I wanna go again.
What the picture does NOT show are all the non-fitness stores that are on the second story of this strip mall. The escalators are for the 80-year old women trying to get to the yarn shop (or similar) next door.
Why did the 24 get photoshopped out?
Trademark reasons, probably…
what about McDonalds failures?
They are too obvious. Their buildings are basically all you need to identify one.
Only in America
LOL!

I know exactly where this 24 hour fitness gym is located. NO ONE uses the stairs. lol
First saw this one in Key West when I was there for hurricane cleanup after Wilma. I thought I would die laughing
its in san diego, next to a vons.
in the Point Loma area.
Those must be annoying to keep clean in the rain.
HA HA
are all the parking spots right in the front too?
no john, the parking spots are at the other 24-hour fitness location.

Yeah, Ive seen this. Fortunately, it’s in San Diego, which means it in no way reflects normal Americans (San Diego is a city fail, trust me)
how????
Clearly you didn’t go to the real San Diego. It’s one of the best cities in the nation to live in.
yeah it really is…..if your gay
no, go to SF for gayness, San Diego is more of a “Hick w/ Money” sorta city. I agree with your premise however.
Maybe she was saying it was “photoshopped” because it was indeed photoshopped!
… the “24″ got photoshopped out! LOL!
EPIC COMPRESSION FAIL
USE JP2K FAGGORTZ
HOW DO THEY RAINPROOF THE ESCALATORS?
I’ve thought about this photo for a long while. Having been in an automobile accident myself, I think it’s likely that the fitness center offers physical therapy for accident victims.
That’s an excellent point, but wouldn’t a ramp be cheaper and easier to maintain?
This is a whole new level of Fail…
You don’t exercise ’til you have to I guess.
only in america would this be done.
its like ordering a super-mega-tripple-cheese-burger with king-sized heap of chips and a diet coke.
Chips? They’re called french fries here. Understanding of American terminology FAIL.

Guess they’re saving their energy for the workout…?
this one is also on here twice and the other one has the 24.
That’s the American mindset in a nutshell.
yup, i used to go to this gym also. sometimes the escalators aren’t working, but when they are, many people going in to 24 hr fitness take them.
This is my gym and I’ve been about about this for years. The best part is that there’s now a “Handicapped access in back of building” sign in front right by the escalators, leaving no excuse what so ever.
In fact, you can see half of the sign on the right hand side of this picture. Thanks for posting this – you’ve made my day.
haahaha thats in san diego!!
No, this is clearly a win. Finaly, a fitness place intended for fat people instead of skinny bitches & jocks who are already thin.
EEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha!!!

They should make the escalators go down instead of up and not have stairs, then the people would really get a workout!
