I went to a concert there the night before. I was standing right under that thing.
It’s definitely Buffalo. Tim Horton’s is huge here. Horton played hockey in Buffalo for a few years.
The fail where two cars are going through the toll booth at the same time is in Buffalo too.
Not that anyone gives a rip.

That did happen in charleston SC,… or whichever city next to charleston, crappy part was, that a guy was underneath it and unfortunately died. Happened i think back in 94-96 time frame.

yeah, they actually managd to salvage 2 screens. the put them at each end under the 200 section. the players used to aim for them during practice.

to put all of your doubts to rest, I’m from Buffalo, NY, and i’ve been a sabres fan for as long as i can remember, and i know that that’s HSBC Arena…i know these things…plus, you can see the sabres logo on the top of the jumbotron…that is, the part that is still attached to the rafters…

Buffalo is one of the places where New York state tax money gets raised, not gets spent. Being the recipient of NYS tax money is almost solely the prerogative of that festering sewerpit at the mouth of the Hudson.

Insurance covered the accident and it has since been replaced by a superior model, all at local expense.

Insurance probably covered it, rather than tax dollars. All though, there might have been a lawsuit against whoever installed/inspected it. All the commercials we’re forced to watch when we go to games are where they make the most money. AFAIK, ticket prices won’t pay for this garbage alone, and I might be wrong but I seem to remember being told that newspapers charge upwards of $40,000 for a full page ad!
