  1. CT A says:

Too smart for anyone to make comments of or what?

    ★★★★★

  2. Vnwater says:

    Best Stair caSE EVER.

  3. Yahriel says:

    /|\ seconded. That’s GREAT.

  4. I wildly approve of whoever’s sense of humour did this one.
Totally totally hilarious. Art fails should be included more!!!
    Huge degrees of love,

  5. Peggy Archer says:

that’s the most awesome architectural fail ever.

    • LockeZ says:

There’s broken stone near where the two staircases converge, so maybe there used to be a path around the side there? But even if so, you’d have to be eight inches tall to get to it.

  6. nibblet says:

DAMN! HAHA .. toooo stupid! :-D *roflpimp*

  7. [...] Xavitron he encontrado este post (un blog muy curioso por [...]

  8. ыыыыыыыыыы says:

    ЗАЧЕТ! :)

  9. Sofar says:

I’ve actually seen this particular fail play out in the past. Architects make strange mistakes, and construction workers tend to do what they’re told.

  10. Anonymous says:

It’s a funny fail… it’s also an “aftermarket” add on. Probably didn’t need those stairs from the ground level anymore.

  11. Chiisana says:

    I wanna try that! xD

  12. Charsha says:

Maybe the staircase fell, like part of it collapsed… I’m just hoping that so I don’t have to think that no one noticed…

  13. anonymous says:

    only in russia

  14. Chinook says:

    Great architectural fail, yes.
The caption is wrong though. It would be an Escher Success, would it not?

    • Fumbe says:

Well for it to be Escher Success the top stairs would have to be inverted to face down towards the other stairs so if gravity made a random shift to the opposite orientation you’d still be covered in the stair department. ^-^

  15. Ami says:

OMG! IT’S THE STAIRS FROM HARRY POTTER XD

  16. DawnOnYou says:

THANK YOU. Escher…very high-brow funny. Did I take a wrong turn into academia?

  17. USMCPelto says:

I wonder if at that crucial blockage area, the stairs can fold over, so that you can go up, then fold it back down, and keep going up.

  18. wonderland says:

This is reminding me of that scene from “the labyrinth” with david bowie

  19. Jax says:

With the look of the rest of the work on that building, I wouldn’t want to be near the 1st floor, let alone higher…

  20. Tails says:

    Escher rules D=
    Now I wanna play Echochrome!

  21. cole-da-mole says:

wow, they must have gotten dr suess.

  22. Lulz says:

The only people who can get over that are NINJAS.(Not The Wannabes from G4)

  23. mike says:

    confused

  24. I want to have mine like that

  25. Anonymous says:

You have to get half-way up and pray for a gravityFAIL

  26. Anthony says:

sorry but escher’s work doesnt apply in real life XD

  27. Alice says:

Wow. An all-time low on Failblog.

  28. sheepyman says:

maybe they were taking down an old staircase, or building a new wing of the buiding. that would explain the broken cement

  29. MIZZYPIE says:

not necessarily a fail, just be sure to exercise extreme caution when getting from the first set of stairs to the landing there, lol

  30. sam says:

    shouldn’t it be a win?

  31. Meguira says:

What is this!? Looks like a scene from Labyrinth…

  32. tinyXD says:

Well… i guess several people are dying in a fire there… NO EXIT!! hahaha ^_^

  33. Im not giving my name to a machine says:

The greatest Russian architects imported from the USA.

  34. IForgotMyName says:

Was that made by a chinesse american that was drunk, adopted and inbreed? There goes all my anger.

  35. Rob says:

Haha, this isnt Escher. If it was there would be several more staircases branching off and it would look like you could go up them and then have your spirit crushed by realizing you cant.

  36. Aaron says:

I could get up those no problem!

  37. Deven says:

Does this remind you of Call of Duty where you cant get somewhere because of something stupid like this

  38. Bohemio says:

that’s why Neron invented elevators :)
