Theme Change: Suggestions welcome
Theme change time, because so many many people don’t understand that the comment link directly under a post title is the one for that post.
Leave a comment on this post with the wordpress.com theme you want to see used. If you like, you could leave a quirky comment on why you think your suggestion should win! The theme with the most requests after X amount of time will be used. If I’m feeling particularly affluent, I may even shell out for custom CSS… We’ll see.
Could you direct us to our choices?
Cheers
If you don’t use WordPress or know what the themes look like, there are some screenshots available here: http://wordpress.com/features/theme-examples/
I like this one fine…
This one is fine, with the exception of where the comments are located. Having them directly after the picture, like a cutline, would make for a lot less CommentFail. =D
As someone who is both on WordPress and who left a comment in a wrong place, let me weigh in here:
1. Pick any theme that has a clear line across the screen that separates the posts.
2. Also, pick a totally bitchy, cutesy theme that is the opposite of the FAIL philosophy. A puppies-and-flowers theme.

Think these guys are trying to horn in on your game… HACK FAIL.

I like this one.

this one is def. fine… just keep it simple.
I happen to like Ocean Mist. Eye soothing colors and the tags are right below the article, making it visually easy to distinguish between them.
cashmoneydollas – Um, looks like you FAILed a little bit there, fella.
FAIL Blog first entry = Jan. 31, 2008.
Failsalon first entry = Nov. 2, 2007.
I would say you failed even more Bikemonkey. Jan 31 2008 hasn’t even been yet.
Uh…. my bad. Nevermind.
Just realized i got a test tomorrow.
^ Massive space/time FAIL.
or just put a line under each picture like :
_________________________________________________________________
=D
Just increase the space between each entry. White space is your friend.
.entry-content {
margin-bottom:30px
}
Actually, 50px works well.
this is just a failure
You should go with Cutline. It’s just begging for a FAIL header image.
contest fail
I think I like the ‘cutline’ best because then you can change the theme seasonally or at a whim!
Cheers
Chaotic soul is awfully neat. It colors the whole page, not just the little top, and the name seems to fit the failblog point.
