This is really sad. The other day, I saw an old lady in a grocery store who could barely walk with a woman assisting her that was being quite cruel to her. I don’t find it funny when people make fun of the elderly, especially immobile ones. It’s just too depressing for me, and I’m glad FailBlog has gotten less mean over time.

I wouldn’t want to fall in a ditch, be helpless and unable to get out, and have somebody take a fricking picture instead of helping me. Would you? :/

Same here. This is as bad as America’s Funniest Home Videos showing kids getting trampled. I’m glad the site’s taste has improved since this photo.

The expression on her face is what makes this a funny fail for me. I wouldn’t like if it were simply making fun of disabled elderly people. However, the lady is clearly not taking this as hard as we are, as she seems to be somewhere between embarrassed, resigned, and the aforementioned “STFU and help me.” Because of that expression, I can laugh and not fail guilty.

I doubt this person was crippled to begin with, thats just a mobility aid for those elderly who find it too hard to walk for any distances to give em a bit of a chnace of doing things like their shopping for themselves.Though I do aggree this isn’t funny
