This wasn’t a student pilot. I know about this incident. I am a pilot and read the NTSB report on it. What happened was the pilot (who was actually experienced) had his engine quit right after takeoff, so he was trying to manuver to land on the road since there was no way he could turn back to the runway. If i recall correctly, the weather was also foggy at this time. Basically, he couldn’t make the turn fully so he ended up in that tree but was able to walk away without a scratch.
it said flying school, not landing school.
Its a setup, after the crash (toys on small set) they puta (teeny) sign!
if i were the manager there i would not put a tree near an airport
