  1. Miffed says:

Actually, I think that’s a Land Rover Succeed.

  2. Paul says:

Hmm, I can’t quite tell – are you sure that’s not a Quail Fail?

  3. Anonymous says:

It’s actually a great catch by the Rover. Like the best of hound dogs. Took it all the way home.

  4. Anonymous says:

    NOM NOM NOM!

  5. julie says:

  6. Anonymous says:

  7. Kyle says:

  8. Lancer says:

    NOT FUNNY IS SAD!!!!! :(

    • not-so-commom-sense says:

ok “Lancer” here is some reading for you (if it isnt too hard)
less than a mile from my house a 20-year-old girl was driving home from college with her three friends. she saw a deer and did everythin she could-braked and swerved. she was going the speed limit-50- and lost control of her car. her car hit the deer, killing it, then a telephone pole, snapping it, and finally a tree, ending it.
she, the deer, and her three friends were all killed. she was smart, the top in all her classes. she wasnt drinking-too young and said she never would (and passed the blood test with a 0.000), she was an animal lover like myself, and she did brake. none of these things kept her from the emergency room with a foot long splinter in her skull.
i knew her, she was my neighbor. she used to come over to be with my 200-some chickens/ducks/geese/turkies. at our houses we used to (and i still do) put out feeders for all hungry wildlife in any season. when walking down to the creek to feed the carp (something killed the algea/plants they ate that year) we spotted a sickly orphaned deer calf, and she helped my raise it in an empty stall with my pregnant minature horse.
on two other occasons we found baby squrrils and we raised and released them. i am always surrounded by animals, as was she, and she died for trying to save a deer.
so what’s better? i ask, taking the life of one wild animal, or trying to save that one animal, to only end the lives of four bright girls with futures and taking that animal with them?
the decision is a no-brianer, for anyone but the suicidal.
think before you post, and look Whit’s post. go to the website. you sicken me.

      • WickedFrost says:

Wow another strike against lancer, dude.
But seriously…the last line…”and look Whit’s post. go to the website.” needs revision :D

      • Renee says:

This doesn’t make the picture funny by the way. Isn’t that the point?
        Why is it on here?

      • Renee says:

That doesn’t make this picture funny. I kinda think YOU fail. Sorry.

      • Renee says:

That doesn’t make this picture funny. In fact, I find it irrelevant. Not to be insensitive. And If you have forgotten, that is the point of this web site. I think YOU fail. sorry.

      • Alesia says:

That was overkill man. It was just a stated opinion. And the loss of any life is sad. Yes, your story was much sadder than the picture. However, the picture is still sad. And not really funny.

      • Meow49 says:

look– im not saying thats not a bad story, that is REALLY sad, and much worse than this picture, but that doesnt change the fact that this picture is sad and unfunny. i think u should understand that if anything. and by arguing with lancer ur pretty much saying that the picture is funny. lancer is right, even though thats a worse story.

      • Tempest says:

This is a red tailed hawk (it looks like), not a deer. They’re gorgeous animals, a favorite of mine, so I’m allowed to be sad when I see one dead. Get over it.

      • Issac says:

WOW WHAT A WASTE OF YOUR LIFE

        LIFE FAIL

      • Dimwit says:

@not-so-commom-sense: perhaps your neighbour should have been driving more appropriately for the road conditions. By the sounds of things you live out in the country and just because the speed limit is 50 it doesn’t mean that you should be travelling at it.. And if there were no survivors who’s to say she was really doing 50? A deer, a telephone pole and a tree? Come now!

        Sorry story FAIL.

  9. O.O says:

    sad, but true fail.

  10. Anonymous says:

    NOM NOM NOM!!!

  11. Anonymous says:

how the hell do you get a range rover to fly????

  12. Anonymous says:

    Discovery – 1
    Pheasant – 0

  13. rusty says:

    Fail? or Quail?

  14. Ariteh1337r says:

Is that a 1st year Herring Gull?

  15. Ariteh1337r says:

    i think its a seagull

  16. Ariteh1337r says:

    No wait….i think that’s a turkey

  17. Cassie says:

A coworker of mine sent me this, b/c I’m known for hitting birds and getting them stuck in my car. I got one in high school, not sure what it was, just your standard bird. Then a couple months ago I managed to hit a bat and get it stuck in the grill of my hubby’s Jeep. I also got a turkey stuck in my minivan much like the bird stuck in the Land Rover above. I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one!!

  18. Kurt says:

pretty sure its a pheasant ,

  19. Meep says:

    Flappityfail

  20. carus says:

This is horrible. It’s not funny at all… stupid yuppies with their stupid SUVs and the maniacal sense of invincibility they have on the road… running over anything and everything… of course, who can expect them to notice, being too busy texting on their blackberries to care.

Anway, I’m fairly certain that’s an accipiter or small hawk

    • ur mom says:

it is probably a pheasant, although it is hard to tell, and yes it is very funny, furthermore, it happens all the time and it is not the driver’s fault, well at least, the owner of the car has one free bird to eat, although I prefer to hunt them, it’s a more honorable death for the bird and a little sport for the man :D

  21. hgdj says:

    this isnt funny. its sick.

  22. Dii-chan says:

I don’t think this is funny at all but it probably wasn’t the driver’s fault. When you’re driving down a road and a bird just happens to be flying by, there really isn’t much to do about it. But seriously, laughing at a horribly mangled bird corpse stuck in the grill of a car? That’s sick.

    • Spunkymonkey says:

Its a pheasant, we breed them here in their millions so that tossers in tweed suits can blast away at them with shotguns. They are very stupid (pheasants and tossers), its a bit like shooting domestic chickens. When they feel they have shot enough of them they leave them in a field in a big pile or feed them to the dogs. This is our equivalent to what you might call hunting. I usually get at least a couple of them with my 4WD on my way to work but I always eat them if they are not to messed up, nyam nyam, roadkill is good.

      • JM says:

I don’t find the sense of humor to be off. I mean, if it was a human baby stuck in the grill, that’d be sick. There’s also the real photo of the car hitting the 11 bikers, and one of them ends up that. THAT can be considered sick. But not this.

    • GK says:

I’m about to go eat a horribly mangled bird corpse of my own. It’s warmed up and served with a secret blend of herbs and spices!

    • Lollafied says:

Dii-chan, if you dont like it, then dont come to the website. Dont steal the fun of the people that actually think its funny.

  23. BlondeCutie13 says:

Lol! they didnt even need a gun!

  24. AaronsEvilTwin says:

I feel like chicken tonight… like chicken tonight…

  25. Alex says:

This is not funny at all and shouldn’t be laughed at. If it was a baby, then that would be good, but an innocent little bird… Just horrible.

    • birdkiller says:

Yeah, I would be fine if it was a human in the grill but a poor, innocent bird? Why would anyone do this? :’( (sarcasm)

  26. Danny says:

ya definately a land rover WIN. Is that a prairie chicken?? mmm…

  27. J. R. says:

44 comments, and I can’t believe nobody realized it was “Chicken Crossing Road – FAIL.”

  28. ayman2b says:

its a falcon, thats why its a fail, falcons are kinda rare

  29. Chel Young says:

That’s what the chicken got, for trying to cross the road…. a big FAIL. :)

  30. lee H says:

yall are missing the point of the fail. its a LAND rover that hit a SKYward object.. der….

  31. nunyabeezwax says:

now im rilly sad wen i saw it i almost cryd i love animalz dis iz plaen sad

  32. zdhsdgh says:

umm.. there is nothing funny about that.

  33. ck says:

i usually love the failblog but this picture is just sad…hopefully no one out there actually finds this funny…if you do think its funny than you obviously have something wrong with you

  34. solo piano says:

if the land rover could roast the bird, then it wouldn’t be a fail?

  35. BLEEDER says:

  36. a ninny mouse says:
