Wow, that picture brings back memories! That particular incident happened at Area 9 near what is now closed Hahn AB, Germany back in the early 90′s. Talk about embarrassment for the munitions driver.
‘shopped.
This one was also in our safety training video, and there was no bomb.
Even without the bomb, driving a forklift off the loading dock is still fail.
So just caz it was in your video that means its fake?
how bout the fact that they showed you it so you wouldn’t make the same mistake, ever think of that?
How about you think about this…take a close look at the amunition. Notice how big it is and how much it hangs off of the fork lift? Now, why isn’t that bomb centered on the forklift? I can tell you, if that bomb was actually on that forklift (which is NOT how the military moves amunition of that size), then it would have been strapped down and not able to move after that incident. The military carries amunition of this size on special trucks made for that purpose.
I used to move ‘em around. Unless the bomb is armed, a physical blow CANNOT set them off. However, it is still not a good idea to drop the damn things…
This reminds me of a training manual fail from the british royal navy which basicly read “warhead must be stored in an upside down position to avoid accidental detonation. the label TOP has therefore been placed on the bottom of the warhead”.
thats not a nuke you retard thats a 2000 pound bomb thats not even close to a nuke have you ever seen a pic of a nuke your a dumb ass dude gtfo and go fail some more
I’ve been waiting for this one! Its finally here! Yay!

How do they get it on the truck? With the Force?
I’m surprize the bomb didn’t go off.
that would suck
actually how much crazier of a story would it have been if it did go off XD
I remember this one. From what I heard, someone moved the bomb there afterward as a joke.

Now BLASTING CAPS will ruin your day
Not to mention Squibs, eh MB?
Where were you Ordnance? we used to love putting cigarettes out on the rockets and making the non-ordnance folk run away in fear.
Ah, good times.

See! I don’t know what everyone’s been so worried about . . . nukes are perfectly safe – as long as no human being comes into contact with one. Yikes!
