The only big changes in the consumer market are in the very long term. Superficial changes will come fast, and I’m sure in 5 years nobody will be carrying an ‘MP3 player’. But I’ll bet you the new music-players they’ll be carrying will be doing much the same thing, and will still play an MP3, among other things.
