I got like 2 years out of my iPod before I ran out of room.
They promised me 500 songs, I got 436.
no one promised you anything, that “500″ songs is an average, if you want i could make a song thats 8 hours long. and 1 thats 2 seconds long. that average is based on the concept that the songs are gonna be an x amount of minutes long. where x could be anything from 3 to 5 minutes.

Well maybe you should put fewer Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, and Klaus Schultze songs on it. You could get way more if you padded it with They Might Be Giants or Kevin Smith soundtracks.
You are full of fail. Now tell me, if you had some songs larger than average, how would you be sure you would be able to fit exactly 500 songs on your ipod with 2 gigs? Learn to figure out how much space your songs actually take. I mean you could stuff 800 short songs on it for 2GB… When they approximate, they figured 3-4 mins per song.

Most tattoo artists can cover a tattoo with another tattoo. It’s not like it’s a HUGE thing on his arm, when the mp3 player fad goes away which just like the walkman tape player, it will, he can get something else put on over top of it.

@ kyle it is just a fad a very long fad maybe an era.. but once scientists figure out nano-chips they can make whole computers as big as ur thumb nail yet be 1000x more powerfull.. and obviously ipods will be remade into something else. so the day of ipods will one day come to an end (well at least the ipods we know today)

Actually that never happened. Microsoft never gave such an investment to Apple because Apple was never about to go out of business.
The funny thing I see here is that everyone thinks Apple and Microsoft are competitors when they are not. Apple is mostly a hardware company, they sell computers and have some software. Microsoft is a software company, they make mostly software and have a small hardware line. The two are not competitors, if you must find a competitor to Apple, to Dell.

Do I have to say this everywhere? A Mac is a PC! Mac’s don’t compete with PC’s, because that would mean they compete with themselves. I am a proud PC user, and I have a computer that runs Tiger, and a laptop that runs Vista/Ubuntu.

Microsoft did make such an investment in 97, however it was after Apple was becoming successful again (they did go fairly close to bankruptcy due to poorly thought out products at the beginning of the 90s) and after the Apple vs MS court case was thrown out.
The fact that there was an investment in Apple by Microsoft was even announced by Steve at the Macworld Expo…

Ok, I’m a proud zune owner, and I have been for about a year now. Zune doesnt fail, this guy definitely does though. To have a brandname tattoed on your arm is just gay. Zune definitely pwns iPod all the way. they never break, theyre easier to get music and videos on, and customer support is free, and the people on customer support, like on the phone, are amazingly nice. Just my thoughts.

If it makes him happy, I don’t see why everyone else should have a problem with it. With the economy the way it’s been, who can blame him for capitalizing on it, even if it was a fluke?
