i was actually there for this, they left a ballast line open and couldnt secure it in time. we flew salvagers on board to try to right the ship. One of the salvagers fell to his death onboard. It was a nasty thing.

This is an actual picture of the MV Cougar Ace. It is not photoshopped in any way. In 2006, this actually happened and yes, one man did lose his life in a fall while attempting to salvage it. The company Titan Salvage successfully righted the Cougar Ace and brought it into port. Apparently Spielberg has purchased the rights to this movie and the team that salvaged it are being paid $50,000 each so that he can use their names, life stories, and likenesses. I am not making any of this up, I know someone who works with Titan.
