Oh of course, it’s so cruel. It’s much more acceptable to let the cat pull it’s stitches out and have it’s guts falling out onto the floor, resulting in a nasty infection which will make the cat feel ill, cause it pain and might even kill it. That’s much better than making a bit of a mess while eating. I would much rather have raging peritonitis or something, than wear a collar that makes eating that little bit more difficult.

A pathetic joke, my cat had one of those on his head not long ago, i had to hand feed him. so those who find this sort of a joke are knotted in the head. whose the idiot the fed it anyway? like hello? does the poor thing look like it can reach its food? and why does it have a cone on its head? obviously it had an injury which was treated and now it needs to wear the cone to prevent it from damaging the healing area via grooming/licking. obviously set up, the cat food is piled way too neatly beside the dish to make it look like that, the cat wouldn’t just sit there and perfectly shovel it out of the bowl like that. if the cat really did this, the picture would show it trying and not just sitting there knowing it can’t get the food which is why it isn’t trying. this is not well done.
