» 148 Failures in Communication

  1. breaker1 says:

Anybody care to venture a guess why Russia doesn’t really like talking with the US? Could be because we go in with hard line stances and then leave like this, could it?

  2. jad1 says:

How embarrassing. Putin looks like he is thinking “What a clown” and his wife cannot even help but to openly laugh at Bush. Makes me embarrassed to be an American. :-(

  3. adam says:

    Putin – is not amused

  4. Alienator says:

Maybe You are the one, failing here, John.
What you see here is a man who is in contat with alien intelligence through his umbrella antenna.
He certainly calls down doom at putin for some kind of joke he didn’t understand ;)

  5. Anonymous says:

im soo glad i am nog an american !

  6. Spaztronomical says:

    your nog the only one.

  7. Alexey (Russia) says:

Where this clown was made? In Texas? I’ll never visit that state of idiots :)

  8. Yahriel says:

@Alexey – yes. Sadly, there is now a village somewhere in Texas that is deprived of an idiot.

  9. Anonymous says:

haha. Russia. Feed your starving millions, then make fun of America. Okay? Thanks.

    • FAILEER says:

Ahh, looks like there’s blind regional faith in the air.

    • Kulgur says:

USA – feed YOUR starving millions (35 at last count), then make fun of Russia. Okay? Thanks.

      • Andri says:

        Comment WIN!

        • Someone from a galaxy far, far away....... says:

Nope. Russia is by far worse than America. At least it is in my opinion. I mean, come on! America’s former President just left office, there is a completely new and supercharged young man ready to go kick ass, while in Russia the elections are completely fake. I mean, Medvedev was elected, but Putin was appointed the second-highest position in the whole d*mn country! I don’t understand that nobody sees that Putin will keep on leading Russia, there is only one thing that has changed. Now he doesn’t give the orders anymore, he just relays them through Medvedev instead! Bush just goes to live in on his ranch in Texas, and he will have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Obama anymore. Find the differences.

          • Personification says:

I’ve got an even better idea: why don’t we all stop making fun of eachother’s countries and go find something better to do with our time our comments? (like feeding starving millions?) And Alexey, don’t make fun of the lone star state. Don’t ever ever make fun of the lone star state. . It is the second largest state in size and population. It is a beautiful, amazing state and it would be a privelage to live there. Also I would love it if you would take the time to explain to me how, exactly, a state has anything to do with intelligence. Also, how is it that we got here from talking about an umbrella? Conversations can take wierd turns.

  10. avari says:

GEEEEEZ!!!!! Everything’s upside down with that man. A book, a phone, an umberella.. :D Funny.

  11. Richard says:

Maybe he was just trying to phone home? He’s made a pretty good dish out of that umbrella!

  12. Anonymous says:

6, Starving millions? God, so they really teach you pure shit in schools.

    • ididitforthelulz says:

but you have the same pic as her/him. and as many ppl here, all with the same personality as far as I can tell…i have to wonder, how you two could have the same design pic…

  13. [...] post info By neoaddict Categories: Comedy and General Tags: bush, fail http://failblog.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/bushs-brolly/ [...]

  14. Chiisana says:

    What a nice flower x3

  15. HURRRRR says:

Yah we’re glad you’re nog an American too. Also, Bush was born and raised in Connecticut but I suppose making fun of that state isn’t as easy because there aren’t any stereotypes to go along with it.

    • Anonymous says:

Actually there are : fat american pigs \o/ … but i guess that works for the whole country… *retreats to a corner to ponder on the issue at hand*

      • bootothat says:

Not any stereotypes for people from Connecticut? *snort* I’m sorry, but I lived in NYC for a while, and there most certainly is. It’s called white and snobby. Perhaps, yuppie is a better word?…..

  16. FAILURE says:

well, quite funny. both alexey and the anonymus guy are right.
i’m never going to russia- cold-blooded clischeé conducted dictators alltogether. and never goin’ to the US and A- they are capable of voting the most stupid man on earth.

    • anni says:

“they are capable of voting the most stupid man on earth”

If our elections were set up so the popular vote won over the electoral college, Gore would have won, not Bush. The electoral college may have made sense in the country’s early days, but not really so much anymore, eh?

  17. JTL says:

Yup, voting in idiots, that’s what we do…oh, wait, voting, that’s right. WE actually get to vote, not be puppets in some 20 year long plan to free our country…which ends with (of all things) a KGB dictator running the show. Think I’ll keep whatever idiot (Republican or Democrat) we happen to get over President/not-President/Prime Minister Putin. Get ready for his next title “given” to him by the Duma – “President for Life”, hmmm, sounds familiar.

    • Alex says:

Believing in BS propaganda about Russia because you are a sheep = epic fail.

      • Vivi says:

        ALEX = COMMENT WIN.

        • Someone from a galaxy far, far away....... says:

ALEX=LIMITLESS COMMENT FAIL. Read my previous comment about russia, and you”l see what I mean. And I’m Dutch, so don’t think I’m influenced by the propaganda (do the words ‘bla, bla, bla’ mean anything to you?) you mentioned. I just don’t like the Russian system of election. The former president continues to lead the country, just pulling the strings through Medvedev now. Election fail.

          • Ace says:

Do you not know that Putin got elected LEGALLY. Weather you like it or not it is legal. Do you have a problem that Russia( under Putin’s rule) has increased the GDP buy 400%. Now if the Russian people like him whats wrong with that.
If you are dutch you should know that George bush is not the greatest president.
Putin is legally in government and received 64% of the votes to get elected. Vs the next best party @ 12% what was the communist party. So is there now coruption in the Russian state???? I don’t think so.

            SO you = Epic fail

            • Someone from a galaxy far, far away....... says:

Wow, late to the party but eh.

Legal? Don’t make me laugh. Putin and his KGB (oh sorry, FSB. Same service, different name) buddies lead the country, not the straw man they push forward as president to make the elections seem fair. Putin was a high-ranking KGB general. He decides he wants to lead the country. Kapow, next thing you know he’s president. See any sort of connection there? At least the US have a fair system of voting. I mean, Hilary Clinton was on the list, she could’ve been the first female president of the US in history! Obama is the first black president in history, and neither of them have anything to do with the Secret Service, let alone be able to use it to get them made president.

Putin may have raised the GBP, there’s still tons of poor and needy people in Russia. So congrats on a job half done. Putin sure commands respect, but I remain with my original statement that he became the president courtesy of the Russian Secret Service.

  18. bgg says:

    “cold-blooded clischeé conducted dictators alltogether”
the funiest thing im ever heard xD

  19. bgg says:

Yall kno nothing about Russia, lolz
    So Tshhhhhhhhhhh! plz

  20. guitargeek says:

WE DIDN’T VOTE HIM IN!! He stole the last two elections!

Don’t judge all Texans or indeed all Americans by him. Most of us hate his guts and we can’t wait to be rid of the ignoramus and his backward ways.

    • Morge says:

Don’t try to fool yourself. Enough votes where placed for him to make it a close battle. Only that is BAD enough. Allowing him to steal TWO elections? EPIC FAIL!

      • chris v. says:

Not exactly technically we voted in the electoral college that voted him in. Kerry would have had a majority of the vote because the majority of the populace is democratic. The majority of rich old people are republican. Technically what we did is vote a bunch of imbeciles to vote him into office. Aside that he’s not from Texas he’s from Conneticut either way I hate the southern U.S. States down here in Southern California we despise him, and if it wasn’t for the fact that his brother was governer of Florida he never would have won.

  21. Tim says:

Is anyone actually surprised that the retard cant open an umbrella. the real fail was electing him to office in the first place.

  22. Sprite101 says:

But I’m sure he gets good reception.

    • SpecialKRJ says:

      Win.

      • Someone from a galaxy far, far away....... says:

Although I’ve heard the Russians activated jammers to keep the “Filthy
capitalist nonsense” of CNN away from their citizens, he’ll probably get a good reception, since Air Force One has a private CNN studio hidden away inside it ;-P

  23. What's a name? says:

It’s not like that had never happened to any of you before…

(ok, language fail, but english is not my native language)

  24. Scott A says:

That’s okay, they have tons of spare idiots in Texas.

  25. Scott A says:

Also: A high-quality umbrella is pretty unlikely to do something like that unless there’s gale-force winds…Or an idiot operating it.

  26. Proctor says:

He’s not failing… he’s transmitting the launch codes!

  27. Aardvark Wombatovitch says:

Bush: “I can’t seem to get Fox on this thing”

  28. me says:

haha putin looks like he has a gun in his umbrella

  29. Jen says:

    It doesn’t look like there’s any wind…

  30. OMG says:

    Portable satellite tv win!!

  31. Blackshoe says:

This isn’t a fail at all… That’s a new portable satellite dish. President Bush doesn’t want to waste any time debriefing everyone on the meeting. Putin looks pissed because he doesn’t have one. US technology WIN!

  32. AJ says:

Bush is trying to receive an incoming message from his fellow tree-aliens ;P

  33. Failinglife says:

its not a fail its a win. he is secretly spying on them XDXD

  34. fail'lah-lah says:

    Well, it’s a fail.

This shot was taken during 2006 G8 summit in Saint-Petersburg.

No, it’s not Saint-Petersburg, FL, but Saint-Ptersburg, Russia.

Yes, the weather was very windy, indeed.

    • Canon says:

No ones hair is getting messed up, their coats are all straight, no debris flying past, and Putin’s umbrella looks fine. I’m sure all these things point to it being windy…

  35. Maxcos says:

…No one can control the weather and this happens a lot. Even to people in Europe. Comment Fail.

  36. proteus says:

with a strong dish like that, he can get a good signal to the internets. heheh

  37. ffnovice7 says:

    SAUSAGE-FEST COMMENT WIN!

  38. Mikha'el says:

Bush is sending messages to his Martian overlords in outer space, via handy umbrella/space satellite dish. I knew he was an alien.

  39. Prototype1207 says:

I know what this looks like but Bush is not that stupid. ITS JUST WINDY!

  40. Cainam says:

Don’t get me wrong – I don’t agree with everything that Bush has done – but this one isn’t his fault. This is the seldom seen outside of Russa trick umbrella. It’s kinda like a hand buzzer. . .

  41. Norwegian Guy says:

Yeah, as much as I like laughing a Bush, this isn’t a fail. Ever tried holding an umbrella when the wind suddenly changes direction?

    Thought so.

    Fail FAIL!

  42. Jojo says:

“After his meeting with Putin, Bush “discreetly” communicates with the CIA”

  43. n00b says:

    Bush=Fail
    Putin=Win

  44. Hauntzor says:

he’s tring to beam something into space with it. Poor retard, that’s an umbrella, not a satellite dish…

  45. Clauricaune says:

doesn’t look like it was raining, anyway.

  46. mcnasty says:

in russia – UMBRELLA OPENS YOU!!!

  47. psycore says:

    lol nice comment

he uses it not as an umbrella… that’s an aerial… he trys to communicate with aliens

  48. allknowing says:

This is an obvious fail, with or without the umbrella

  49. Personification says:

That could happen to anyone. In fact, I’ve seen that happen before. It’s not that big of a deal. Either the umbrella was broken or the wind bent it, either way, nothing he did wrong.

    • Alltat says:

Except of course opening your umbrella when it’s that windy. That’s the fail. Doing it as a head of state in front of the media does make it all that much more amusing, however.

  50. theirishboxer says:

    bush= fail

  51. Tavita says:

    Merry Poppins?

  52. Sprangzoid says:

    LMFAO
What George Bush was probably thinking.
“Hm! I wonder if I let it flip like this, if I were able to project my thoughts out to the aliens!” hahahaha

  53. joe says:

Thats not a fail, Bush is trying to collect some rainwater to give his wife a much needed drink.

  54. scott says:

this is why he isn’t our president anymore

  55. dustin says:

he’s trying to contact aliens using his sattelite dish. it’s not an umbrella lol

  56. Chaos24 says:

Putin is thinking “This is the guy who rules the most powerful(but not the most intelligent) country in the world?”

at least hes not any more :)

  57. lilith says:

This isn’t really a fail at all, and has nothing to do with intelligence. I didn’t vote for Bush but the majority of failpics insulting him are just stupid. This could happen to anybody, and it has happened to me and most of my friends at some point or another.

  58. Anonymous says:

No, it wasn’t caused by the wind!
The umbrella was repelled by him!

  59. vtpaul says:

    Covert Satellite Antenna Deployment Fail

  60. Whatsername says:

and the people elected this man TWICE?! i’d say it’s an american fail

  61. om nom, om nom nom says:

    Where be the rain?

  62. test says:

    butterbovine

  63. Simon says:

Bush dont stop the rain, he catches it!

  64. james says:

typical bush that whole family is just one big ass fail they obviously cant do anything right especially run a country

  65. solo piano says:

putin slipped bush the trick umbrella…

  66. Josh says:

thats what you call a rain satellite…

  67. Stefan says:

This can happen to anyone, but the smile on Putin’s wife is priceless.

  68. Just found this site and bookmarked it, Great job!

  69. Gluevah says:

What fail? That is clearly a portable satellite dish.

  70. Jake says:

Bush always finds a way to ruin the day.
    It’s not even raining!
    Anyone point that out?

  71. Someone says:

OMG! Is that Vladmir Putin smiling?!

  72. bush doing his mary poppins imitation.

  73. PoopieMcfart says:

    E.T Phone home!!

  74. Aust26 says:

The fail has nothing to do with the umbrella, just the fact George Bush is in this picture makes this a Fail!

  75. Brianna says:

    OMG!
He’s signaling his people to come and take him home!

  76. This sort of info will need to be valued by everyone – it’s a thing that I consider we can all draw upon. I extremely considerably like the theme you’re making use of right here which I believe is wordpress isn’t it? I’ve been looking all over for anything simular but have yet to discover some thing suitable for my web site. I looked at the link on your footer and will try and download a copy of it for myself – thanks.

  77. dave says:

i voted for bush 2nd time round :-(
